Samuel Medici

Chairman of the Board
Director of Intellectual Property, IBM (ret.)

Mr. Medici consults with major U.S. and international companies in the areas of technology transfer, joint development and business divestitures. He retired after 35 years as Director of Licensing with IBM, where he was responsible for technology and patent licensing worldwide. He was previously an engineer for IBM, working in systems/technology development and manufacturing.

Izhar Armony

Partner, Charles River Ventures

A partner with Charles River Ventures, Mr. Armony focuses on enterprise software and services areas with a specialization in supply chain management. He is the former Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Onyx Interactive, Tel Aviv.

Robert Barr

Executive Director, Berkeley Center for Law and Technology

Mr. Barr is currently the Executive Director for the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology. Formerly, he was Vice President for Intellectual Property and Worldwide Patent Counsel for Cisco Systems in San Jose, California, where he was responsible for all patent prosecution, licensing and litigation.

Greg Gottesman

Partner, Madrona Venture Partners

Mr. Gottesman joined Madrona in 1997 after working as an associate for the Boston Consulting Group. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors and distinction from Stanford University, with honors and distinction from the Harvard Business School, and with honors from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. Mr. Gottesman is a board member of the Evergreen Venture Capital Association and the Seattle Repertory Theatre, where he is chair of the Trustees Committee.
