Tony Kulesa
Managing Director, Semiconductor and Communications
Tony leads ThinkFire’s analysis of Semiconductor and Communications technologies. His responsibilities include managing patent analysis, development of patent assertion cases, performing reverse-engineering of products for infringement analysis, business and market analysis, strategy consulting, and leading consulting engagements for clients.
Tony comes from a semiconductor and communications product development background and managed the development of cutting-edge technologies for more than 20 years prior to joining ThinkFire in 2005. Specific products and technologies that Tony has developed include DSL modems, Sirius digital satellite radio receivers, DSP & VLIW processors, cellular handsets, satellite communications, and a variety of telecommunication systems.
Tony’s prior professional experience includes leadership positions at Bell Laboratories, Conexant Systems, Synopsys, TRW, and he was a founder of XIT Tech Consulting, Inc. He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
